Just a quick little thing I made to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Sonic series. It's no secret that I'm a long time Sonic fan, and more so, that the music in the games over the years has been a constant inspiration to me. So here's a little something to pay homage to that.
This is one of my favorite tunes from Sonic 4, but it's always bothered me that the song loops the way it does. It always felt like it needed some kind of B section, or a turnaround, or something. So I took it upon myself to add a few measures to it to help flesh it out a bit by reprising the melody from Splash Hill act 1. I also added some cymbals to the drum part, and added some synth chords throughout to help make it a little more unique than a typical arrangement- hence why I'm calling this one a "remix".
Let me know what you guys think! If this one is popular enough, I may do more of these types of things in the future, where I add to a pre-existing tune in some way. Thanks for listening!
