In this episode of BAD Q Garage, we head down to Welshpool, Western Australia, to check out one of Perth's loudest car audio events – the SPL Cartel 3 Song Challenge!
SPL Cartel is a Perth-based car audio community that hosts regular monthly events where competitors put their sound systems to the test. Contestants play three songs, the dB readings are averaged out, and the loudest setup takes home the win.
From daily drivers to extreme competition builds pushing well over 150dB, this event showcases some seriously impressive subwoofers, amplifiers, custom enclosures, and engineering.
