This iconic Street Machine Giveaway Ute has been reborn for 2024! The legendary VU SS has undergone a full revival led by some of Western Australia’s best — and it’s now ready to hit the streets once again.
💪 The Build
Under the bonnet roars a big-cam LS1, paired with a Turbo 350 transmission and a high-stall converter for that unmistakable Aussie muscle sound.
It rides on full air-ride suspension, features a stunning custom red interior, and pumps out serious tunes through a complete JVC stereo system — amps, subs, and speakers all tuned to perfection.

This build is a true collaboration between some of WA’s most passionate automotive people:
Aussie Garage – Leading the revival and coordinating the full transformation.
BAD Q Garage – Helping with the project and keeping the Ute moving through every stage of the build.
AJ's Mods – Got it running strong, fully serviced, and sorted out all those electrical gremlins.
Dan from Vision Trim Shop – Repaired and refreshed the interior, bringing that custom red trim back to life.
Des from AutoFX – Restored the paintwork to a flawless, show-stopping finish that gleams like new.
