The Spiritual Tour of Rishikesh, at the Sattva Summit, is aimed to provide a complete immersive experience as we take our participants to a trip on Rishikesh history.
One of the destination in our Rishikesh tour list is the Durga Temple that gives an experience of Shakti. Amidst the waves of devotion, one can offer prayers to the essence of the mother and understand the true nature of Shakti.
The other Rishikesh tour sites include Vashishta Cave - the abode of one of India’s most famous Rishis. It is situated on the banks of the River Ganges - a fantastic opportunity to take a dip in the holy waters.
There is also Arundhati Cave nearby that offers a way to understand silence and stillness as one comes home to the cosmic self. These trips gives our participants an understanding of Rishikesh history and the reason why Rishikesh is called Rishikesh.
The Summit participants visit the local Sattva farm where most of the food for the sattva yoga academy is grown. A genuinely sacred piece of land that imbibes the nourishment with the power of purity.
And finally, there is the famous Rishikesh ashram called the Chaurasi Kutia also known as Beatles Ashram. This Rishikesh ashram was the ashram of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who founded the Transcendental Meditation. The place is now vacant yet fully alive with mother earth.
