Slight improvements to the comet medal strategy.
To do this long jump, fall out of the launch star with no direction held. When you land hold right and long jump almost immediately. Then when the dirt path on the planet in the distance on the left (where the star for spin dig 2 would be) goes offscreen, release the control stick back to neutral. This next part is kinda blind, but this is what I do to help. When the pillar with the launch star goes offscreen, press down or up on dpad. Use the dpad icon to determine when to spin and hold back for collecting the comet medal.
To do this triple jump is a tiny bit more specific. There's full throttle (hold the control stick all the way) and "half" throttle (don't hold the control stick all the way). You want to do half throttle slightly down from left for the first jump then shift to above left while still half throttled for the remaining 2. You also want to delay the jumps a bit in order to angle them. All of this allows you to go for the triple immediately after getting the medal instead of having to line up in a corner.
Other than that, this is fairly standard. Granted for toad I found just holding directly up the entire time to move the camera down immediately makes the starbits hit him more consistently. That's about it for different strategies that I used. The 2 enemy bounces was actually a mistake. Bouncing off the first one ruined my angle adjustment for a tighter line and caused my line up to be directly to the 2nd enemy. Slow but it looked cool though.
