Spider plague following recent rain event in central Australia, Golden orb Spiders constructing webs between tree's and feasting on grasshoppers and other insects. These are large Spiders and can catch small Birds in the webs, not dangerous to people as they are reluctant to bite and not too venomous however they should not be treated as a 'cuddle or comfort Spider'.
