Todd river which is a normally dry desert river in central Australia is flowing after a recent rain event. Alice Springs comes to a standstill as all the town turns out to witness the rare spectacle. The first water flow is a regular Poonami due to all the rubbish, filth, dead animals etc that the water washes down.
