Spicy Pho Challenge / Vegan
My friend Dan is a big fan of pho soup, even knowing the various types of vietnamese pho, loves spicy pho and is already ready for spicy pho challenge. However, he has never tried vegan pho. That is about to change as we visit Vinh Loi Tofu to try their spicy vegan pho soup. With any soup, especially pho, it's all about the broth. Dan wasn't sure how a vegan pho soup would taste since the there was no meat in the vegan pho broth and how would we make this spicy vegan pho broth taste similar to traditional pho with meat. When we turned up the heat, everything in this vegan pho was spicy, including the spicy noodles and tofu. Dan was a trooper in this spicy vegan pho challenge and made for a great vegan pho taste test.
