We have no good solution to the problem of storing nuclear waste. It must be cooled in spent fuel pools for 5-10 years before it can be moved to dry cask storage. During that time, it is still dangerous. #PaulBlanch investigated what can happen in various scenarios and warns of inadequate protection of this potentially explosive material.
