I know I've missed days here and there, but I'm actually embarrassed that I missed the 18th. I literally had everything set up to record it on time, but then I got distracted by something long enough for the server to reset and roll over to the 19th.
Spelunky Lesson of the Day: Cooking bombs can be useful if you want to hit something above you but lack Paste, though of course you always run the risk of blowing yourself up if your timing is off.
6:07 - I have no idea why I used a bomb here rather than just getting the mattock and using that instead.
7:00 - I was pretty proud of my ability to recover that damsel in a tricky spot, especially because I needed the health due to careless losses earlier.
8:41 - Nearly crushed myself there...
8:54 - ...and that didn't matter because I overcooked a bomb and killed myself here. Ack, I should've bought the paste when I had a chance or just got some from the Giant Spiders below rather than risking myself like I did here.
