This run was absolutely ridiculous. The seed was amazing, 1:37 is a pretty good time and we weren't even trying to go fast! Ending with 3 bombs and 2 ropes is also pretty wild, the seed was suuuper lenient resource usage wise. Not to mention, we had *three* people with 4 hp for over 40 levels with two of them not needing the 7-90 health reset?? What??? Super well played by everyone in the lobby, this is definitely the cleanest Low% Cosmic Ocean run to date!

This is a TAS, or tool-assisted speedrun. It was made using tools such as slowdown, frame advance, and savestates, and is not meant to compete with real runs but is solely for entertainment. Recently, Tvrobot found yet another seed that was faster for this category, but this time the seed is faster through jungle than volcana! On the oldest seed, TAS could get a 2:13, on the seed prior to this, TAS could get a 2:03, but this time TAS can get a sub 2 (and by a decent margin)! Very cool stuff.
Category Rules: You are not allowed to have any more items or health besides the starting 4/4/4. Environmental objects are allowed (rocks, pots, and landmines are all okay, for example). Beat the game.

There have been some Mount Fay discoveries involving crests not named Reaper or Beast and I wanted to show them off somehow. A video going through all the skips with every crest seemed like a good way to do this (even though you cant get architect/witch/shaman in act 1). This took quite a bit of effort, so I hope you enjoy it!

1:34 - Hunter
Shakra Bench Cocoon - I tried messing with float extensions (will explain in the Wanderers section - can also be seen at Hunter Toll Bench Cocoon Skip) to try to skip brew here, but I wasnt able to get it. Maybe its possible if youre insanely good
Flea Room - I do a float after the damage tank and before the pogo off the third guy, but Im not sure if that helps or makes it worse
6:04 - Wanderer
Shakra Bench Cocoon - This room is ROUGH. I use a lot of float extensions here (specifically 5, but idk if thats optimal). This is where you interrupt your float with a slash and start floating immediately afterwards, which loses some height but can cover more distance. Wanderer is especially good at this because of its fast attack speed (Hunter is decent at it, but the rest of the crests are pretty bad barring a couple exceptions Ill cover later). The difficulty is that the floats after the slashes cant be buffered. If you float too early, you will just fall. If you float too late, youll lose too much height. If you are going to try this room, please give yourself Threadstorm or some extra tool pouches.
Final Room (Cocoon-less) - Its not worth it just use the cocoon (also, the phial I use in the cocoon route is unnecessary)
10:28 - Beast
First Room - I cant confirm if this is actually true, but anecdotally pogoing the cocoon from the left actually seems helpful
Shakra Cocoon - This room might be doable with one phial, but Im not 100% sure
Water Room - This room is possible without any phials using the same route, its just much more difficult
Slope Room - This is an alternate route than what I showed in one of my previous videos. Im not exactly sure how much easier/more difficult it is or what the best time to use the heal is though.
Flea Room - In my previous video, I got two jumps off of some of the temporary walls to get enough height, but that is very difficult without dash. This route shows a way to clear this room without needing to do that.
Final Room (Cocoon-less) - Beast crest makes this very finicky lmao
15:27 - Reaper
Shakra Cocoon - This room can be cleared without using any brews if you do what I did for Wanderers version of this room instead of what I did in the clip. I wouldve done it that way, but I only discovered that method after having already recorded this (and everything else) and I didnt feel like getting another clip.
Slope Room - You dont have to do it this way; you can do it the way that the other crests (except Beast and Shaman) do it and still end with 3hp.
Flea Room - You can actually get two pogos off of one enemy if youre quick. I opted to not do them since theyre a little tricky, but it makes the room easier if youre consistent at them.
Toll Cocoon - Remember those float extensions? Well, Reapers pogo is quite okay at them (and you can actually buffer float here!), but its still nowhere near as good as when Wanderer or even Hunter uses them.
19:28 - Architect
Architect pogo is actually pretty good at float extensions (you can buffer float here too)
Shakra Cocoon - Same note as Reaper, but also getting up to the wall after the cocoon should be possible without the phial? Im pretty sure it is at least. Its very precise though
Flea Room - This strat should work no matter which way you get flung from the damage tank (which is seemingly random??), it just might be a little tighter than the ideal scenario
23:50 - Witch
Witch pogo is extremely finicky and Im not experienced enough with the crest to have a good understanding of how to use it. Sorry!
Water Room - Sometimes when pogoing the ice you just get sucked into the water? Thank you Witch crest (also that heal is difficult too)
Tool Cocoon - You should be using the last phial early instead of the float extension
Final Room (Cocoon) - Unnecessary phial usage
28:21 - Shaman
Shaman pogo is VERY strong. You can not only get a ton of height from it but you can use it for float extensions as well (float can be buffered yes). You do have to turn around briefly for maximum distance is a little awkward, but its still better than what you have to do with Wanderer.
Shakra Cocoon - Doing the dash-up-the-wall thing I did with Wanderer should make that one jump after the cocoon far easier.
Water Room - I was nowhere near consistently gaining the height to get up to that first warmth platform. Maybe Im just not that good at using this crest? Either that or it really is finicky.
Final Room (Cocoon) - Not sure why I did the room this way lmao, the bottom path presumably works fine.")
