In this video I speedrun a custom Minecraft map called Spellbound Caves (part of the Super Hostile map series). The goal of the map is to collect 16 wool and 3 mineral blocks scattered throughout the map and place them on a monument at the end. This run features many cool tricks that aren't often seen in vanilla runs, such as the Teleportal.
NOT Set Seed Glitchless (SSG), or Random Seed Glitchless (RSG), or any vanilla category like that. This is a speedrun of a CTM / Complete the Monument custom map.

Explanation for the glitch at 3:20:
A lava block essentially has 2 parts to it. There is a 0.8 block wide region that acts as the liquid itself, and the entire block which just sets you on fire. On servers with certain plugins, the outer regions of the lava blocks dont have any effect on you, so if you are at the edge of the block youre standing on, you can just walk through the lava. I use the F3 menu to line myself up because I need to stay within the 0.1 block margin the whole time. Note that you simply cant jump around the lava blocks instead because the plugins kill you if your entire hitbox is above the void at any point.

The goal of the map is to collect 3 wool blocks scattered throughout the map and place them on a monument at the end before your enemy team. This map is similar but, not exact to other Complete the Monument (CTM) custom maps. This run features some cool tricks that arent often seen in vanilla runs.

Info:
The S+Q upwarp glitch is an effect of the client-to-server merge that took place in Minecraft 1.3 and works up until 1.4.2. By obstructing the space which the player is currently occupying and then reloading the map, the game places the player at the lowest available 2-block-high space above the players current position.
In singleplayer, this glitch only works inside spawn chunks, but the spawn chunks can be extended by placing a chest at the chunk boundary, which I do at 2:57.
This exploit is banned in vanilla speedruns because it requires quitting the map, but as of January 2020, it is allowed under Super Hostile / CTM speedrunning rules.
