Spellbinder has always been a master of illusion, but in The Batman (2004), his power takes on an entirely different meaning. Instead of a con-artist or criminal psychologist, this version is a monk who’s reached enlightenment… and then sold it out.
His third eye doesn’t open him to higher truth, it traps others inside false visions for his own gain.
