![Blender Python Tutorial : Create Property Group & Enumerator (Panel) [learn python for beginners]
In this Blender Python Tutorial, we will be looking at adding an Enumerator and other Custom Properties onto a Panel. We will also be creating a Property Group which will contain a number of custom Properties we can define.
Looking to learn Python for beginners? You are in the right place. Be sure to check out the Scripting Playlist!.
We will need a couple of things before we can get started. We will need a basic script that contains a Panel, operator and a registration section. You can use Blenders Templates to add a panel and operator.
If you want to follow along you can download the template script or the Finished Script from our blog: https://darkfallblender.blogspot.com/2020/08/blender-python-tutorial-how-to-add.html

![Blender Tutorial: The Sphere [Stylized Sci-fi Planet Hard Surface]
In this video we will be creating a stylized Sci-fi Planet Hard Surface scene. I wanted to create a gloomy/atmospheric surface with a bunch of mountains in the background. Along with some visual interest (in the form of a sphere). Since I used eevee it took less than a second to render each frame (though if you want to use cycles, then feel free to do so!).

For those of you who want to download the VFX nodes addon you can visit our blog post here: https://darkfallblender.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_8.html

![Blender 2.8: VFX Nodes (Version 1.1) [Addon]
Version 1.2 is now available to download here: http://bit.ly/2kB5XYt
In this video we will be looking at Version 1.1 of the Darkfall VFX Nodes Add-on.
In this first Update, I have made a few Minor changes to the UI and the Process. It took far too long before to scroll through the effects to find the one we want, so I have placed each Effect into its own Section.
Each node now has its own color to further make them unique and I have also set the Width of each node (saving you from resizing each time).
When you add in the Effect node (you no longer have to press Shift A, you can click the button and the node will be added), the current nodes in the compositor are no longer deleted.
There are some other small changes to this Face lift of an update but I think they had been needed and were certainly requested.
In this Update, I also added the Vignette Node, which is another common effect for Visual Effects.
I will be continuing to add new effects and also improving the add-on overall.
I hope you find this add-on helpful!

![Blender Compositing VFX Tutorial : Remove People/Objects from Videos [Node Editor]
In this Blender Compositing VFX Tutorial we will be removing people/objects from our footage. Be sure to check out our latest Add-on, The Darkfall VFX Add-on. Its a free add-on that contains 8 different effects and the Clone Node making this Tutorial outdated.. .. Check out the blog page here: http://bit.ly/2kB5XYt
When shooting in locations you can not control, there is always the risk of having unwanted people or objects in your shot.
For example, we want a nice shot of the lighthouse and the water behind but there is a man in the way.
With a few Masks and some Nodes we can easily remove the problem and get the shot we want.
I hope this Blender Compositing VFX Tutorial helps and as always Thanks for watching!.

![Blender Compositing VFX Tutorial : Castle Rock [Digital Matte Painting]
In this Blender Compositing VFX Tutorial, we will be composing another Digital Matte Painting called Castle Rock.
This time we will be using the 3D view when compositing our shot. Using GIMP (or any other software of your choice) We will first take an image and cut it into a few layers. Then add some Visual Interest in the form of a castle or two, some Ruins and other assets to build our Matte Painting.
Once we are happy with our assets, we then export the images (with alpha transparency) and bring them into Blender using the Image as Plains tool.
Once the Layers have been positioned and scaled we then add some more visual interest with the addition of a Water fall.
To make our work a little easier, The waterfall video clip has been turned into an Image Sequence. (You could just use the video and create a custom mask).
Then using the same technique as the waterfall we can add smoke and other moving elements to add more life to our shot.
With the addition of compositing, we can add Motion blur, color grading and finally a nice heavy Sunbeams Node to compose this Matte Painting.
If you create an awesome Matte Painting and want to share it with us, be sure to post a link in our facebook group.
I hope you guys enjoy this Blender Compositing VFX Tutorial! and as always, Thanks for watching!..
