This is part of a PSA for Spain's Socialist Party running for re-election. This PSA notes the socialist/public health care system that Spain that is single payer,. The Spanish Socialist Party used this PSA among others to note the differences between America's still non-universal or single payer system that is payed for by the patient out of pocket.
Cheryl had throat cancer and lost her voice due to lack of health insurance, as this is noted in this PSA. I was hired by a Spanish advertising agency due to my functional Spanish, as well my equipment resources, as well my prior work experience. As a director of photography, photographer and sound recordist, I have clients globally. I am also traveled frequently nationally, as well, globally as a DP, as well providing camera crew or crew personnel support.In this production sample, I have helped as a director of photography and sound recordist, as well lighting to match prior footage that was not recorded the first time the Spanish camera crew was here for production. I provided the main content of the PSA with the testimonial to camera directly from Cheryl, the on-camera talent. B Roll was acquired by the Spanish Crew whom apparently lost some of the footage, and I was hired to pick up the needed content as a local Denver director of photography.
