Battle against a [[BIG SHOT]]
Experimenting with Earthbound style again! The instrumentation is pure Earthbound, however the arrangement was inspired by "Battle against a weird opponent" and Mother 3. I didn't stick myself to the limitations of the original harware for the sake having a more "complex" remix, hope you don't mind. btw, my apologies for the low quality battle background, I couldn't find a better one :(

Hey there, this song is so cool and I havent heard any remix of it, so I did my thing.
I thought this was gonna be an easy one but the bassline kept doing variation after variation, so I had to pay special attention to it, same goes for the melody, sometimes it adds an extra note or gets rid of another, and if I didnt add those changes to the remix, it would feel weird.

Hey there! Im back with a song that Ive tried to remix before, but this time I did it right lol. The Sonic Mania OST and Tee Lopes himself inspired me to take music more seriously, so I have a lot of respect for this song, and even more for that insane piano solo that it has, but Im happy that I finally managed to transcribe it.
I had a lot of fun with the sound design here, I mostly tried to make the remix sound faithful to the original, (cause Im tired of those remixes that just use sonic instruments and call it a day) but I think that the highlight of it is the imitation of the Mania brass of power, I spent like a whole hour designing that, but I think it ended up sounding pretty decent; another interesting point is that I used a polyphonic instrument for those synth strings that play in the background, and since that kind of instrument allows me to play 2 or more notes at once, the remix sounds like its using more channels than the genesis has.
