Don't waste chunky SPACKLE and PUTTY; save $$ with SMOOJERS you can make for FREE. Learn how I make simple 'smoojers' to preserve products like spackle, wood putty and color putty. Made with nothing more than a thin piece of sturdy metal strap, a smoojer lets you easily 'trowel' the uneven surface of fillers in their container after each use. Smoojers of different sizes work best for containers of different sizes so I make a set of them to cover all the different products I use occasionally in the shop and on the job.
