The Southern Pacific Heritage unit makes an appearance on Norfolk Southern Harrisburg Line. While the locomotive was trailing, we were still presented the opportunity to chase the train and catch it three times. We catch the train emerging from a cut, then stopping for a meet with a westbound container train, pulling out soon after, and got ahead of it just in time to film the full run-by of the train.

October 21, 2014: Eastbound manifest train 10N makes its way east across Central Pennsylvania on its way to Allentown Yard, from Conway (near Pittsburgh, PA) led by NS Dash-9-44CW 9965, with the Southern Pacific Heritage Unit, Union Pacific 1996, trailing. There are a lot of neat cars mixed into the train, which will pass the camera in full during the last scene.
0:00 - 10N emerges from the rock cut near Milepost 77 with a bit of fall color present in the background. The best color, of course, would be in the form of UP 1996!
1:05 - 10N stops for a meet with westbound marine container train 23M, which is led by NS SD60E 6916, with NS ES44AC 8055 trailing.
3:00 - 10N gets on the move, and the sun comes out, making the Southern Pacific "Daylight" inspired paint really pop.
4:30 - The final and third location, 10N drops down grade on the opposite track after crossing over once the container train passed. We will watch the entire train at this location.
