My involvement in the model railroad hobby has allowed me to connect with so many great people over the years.
I was made aware of the Southern Indiana Railroad Club in Jeffersonville, IN. They are in the greater Louisville, KY area, have an HO Scale model railroad and hosts gatherings regularly.
A few of us from the UPSF group made the 3 hour drive over from Flora, IL. We spent the evening running trains and following the JMRI switch lists.
After the Op Session was finished, I spent a couple of minutes running my locomotives around the layout and recording some of the various scenes they have.
Due to the many conversations taking place, I muted the room audio and used the audio from a previous railfan trip to the North Platte hump yard.
