There isn't much habitat in South Texas left for native wild animals but Santa Clara ranch has done something about that. The only way you can shoot there is with a camera. A trip there will almost guarantee you will see javelina, armadillos, green jays, roadrunners, Audubon's oriole, golden-fronted woodpecker, bobwhite quail, pyrrhuloxia and rabbits, but you will have to be really lucky to see a bobcat.
