It’s clear that South Park season 27 will be a bit more focused than the last two seasons by honing in on the show’s most iconic and controversial character: Eric Cartman. As although “Got a Nut” will stand out for having some of the funniest jabs at ICE, including the raid on heaven which might be one of the best scenes the show’s had in recent years, it also follows up on Cartman’s existential crisis from the season premiere in a way that’s clearly setting up something huge. South Park is CHANGING Cartman in a major way, where he’ll still feel like Cartman but the words coming out of his mouth and the people he’s trying to get a rise out of are drastically different from what we’re used to. Let’s talk about it!
