Chimptopia is the internet's newest punching bag as the trailer for the upcoming indie animated pilot and its kickstarter ticked off cartoon fans across the web after taking shots at Gameoverse and having Gobbles or "Bobbles" jumped by the main characters, on top of other concerns such as the landlord Chimp having not so great implications and a particular piece of art found in the creator's portfolio - but I'm not here just to say "Chimptopia bad!" I wanna provide some actual criticism for the project and examine if it can actually succeed after the appropriate changes are made. What does the future of Chimptopia have in store? Is is truly the worst indie animation pitch ever made? Or is the creator just in over his head? Let's talk about it!
