South Metro Fire Rescue is hosting a memorial dedication ceremony on Wed. Sept. 11, 2024 as the organization officially introduces a donated piece of 9/11 sacred steel that was recovered from the World Trade Center Towers. This piece of steel now stands in front of the South Metro Headquarters Building memorializing all those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
