Before we get too stuck into 2026 we wanted to take a moment to celebrate all the amazing New Zealand music that we've filmed in 2025. Now in its 13th year, SOUNZ Films amassed a whopping 189 works filmed last year, preserving more than 40 hours of incredible performances.
Ngā mihi nui to our very busy, very talented filmmaker, Chris Watson, to RNZ Concert for recording audio at so many of these performances and to NZ on Air for their funding support. We'd also like to thank all of the composers, performers, ensembles and artists that allow us to share your work: we are eternally grateful!
