During the April 8, 2024 solar eclipse in Butlerville, Indiana scientists from Purdue University captured how animals react to a passing eclipse. At first, an early afternoon chorus echoes through the forest. As totality hits, the singing birds were replaced by singing frogs and later, accompanied by some human-made noise.
