In this video, I'll explain how to use an Arduino to create a light that glows in response to the volume of an audio signal fed via a 3.5mm line input. If you connect this to an escape room audio system as used to broadcast "Voice of God" hints spoken by the gamesmaster, you can personify the hint giver as a sentient object in the room, such as the "robot-eye" light fitting I use in this video!
