The video shows a sound wave as variations in the air pressure (upper: longitudinal wave), and as an ordinary sine wave (lower: transverse wave) where the variations in pressure is displayed over time.

The first half demonstrates a faint sound (small amplitude), and the remainder demonstrates a louder sound (larger amplitude).

Notice that the amplitude in the bottom figure relates to the amplitude of a single oscillating air molecule (red dots) in the top figure.

The video was created using Mathematica 11 and the ffmpeg software (ffmpeg.org). The idea is stolen from the net. I'd be happy to share the code.
