This Monday morning’s Music + Coffee combo.

I grew up with Neil Young never off the record player for very long. The three records on high rotation in our house hold by Young were: After the Gold Rush, Harvest and Comes a Time. Neil Young greatly influenced my songwriting, guitar playing and also inspired me to pick up the harmonica. So I was pleased to get this classic on vinyl from my local record store, Sound Records in Stroud, UK.

I've been making trips from Stroud to Bath to drink coffee at Colonna & Small's cafe for some years now. I'm a big fan of their beans and this roast, 'Agua Fresca', from the Nayarit region of Western Mexico, is absolutely delicious! Tasting notes (as written on their website) are: "floral, tangy acidity with a long sweet finish — expect notes of hibiscus, cranberry and malt loaf."
