We’re going to meet brute force with what Gandhi called soul force. I heard a young man say last year, “Americans are stronger than anything they throw at us.” And this is the time to prove it.

There’s a mass awakening happening right now. Millions of us are poised to respond powerfully to this moment, using whatever nonviolent means we have at our disposal to push back on the oppressive forces in our midst.

Other generations faced such challenges, and because of their efforts freedom prevailed. Now it’s our turn, to show up in our time, and do for future generations what past generations did for us.
