For the past 10 years, Surfrider has been fighting against the port project in Brétignolles-sur-Mer.
Despite proven environmental risks and community opposition, the project was approved by public authority.
As excavators appeared and began digging into the dunes of Plage de la Normandelière, we knew it was time to send a powerful message
2,500 people attended the protest on October 6, 2019
Surfrider Europe is now taking legal action to demand the cancellation of the environmental authorisation issued by regional public authorities.
