A Vinyl Community live stream, playing and chatting vinyl records, new and old, from experimental music to dub, with healthy doses of post punk, indie, modern classical, electronic music, folk, psychedelia, hip hop, techno, global sounds, etc.
If you enjoyed this, maybe even found ideas of records to get, and want to tip your DJ & support the channel to do more of the same and better, you can do so here, it really makes a difference : ko-fi.com/stunty or paypal.me/stuntrockconfusion
What a fun stream it was last week! Still regrouping after a long summer that saw many of you scattered around the world even more than usual, but we're getting there. After all, when you listen to music, you could be anywhere—literally and metaphorically.
When I listen to a record, I sometimes imagine a scenario where I'm experiencing it in a different place than the one I find myself in, and think about how that would affect me.
Music allows us to do that more than anything else.I often talk about how records are time machines that take you back to an otherwise unreachable emotional state from your past.
Well, I'm learning that the geographical dimension can be even more potent, acting as the sound supervisor of your fantasy travelling.
And I guess that's part of what we're doing here this week, with a massive grail, some long quests coming to a beautiful end, more new releases, and some overdue reunions.
Hope to see you live, or in the comments!

Viens t’enivrer de mon ivresse.
