Does time fly by faster, or slower to you people? It seems to be that week after week, I barely catch my breath between all these streams. And yet, when they are happening, the weirdest thing regularly happens, as time feels like it is expanding. But another thing that keeps expanding, as a friend and viewer was pointing out, is that music can also be about learning, becoming a better version of yourself, as it's one tool we have to fast track empathy for others. It's not this apolitical, nonpartisan medium that some people want it to be, it's a multi-dimensional thing. So the conundrum of this whole affair is that while it expands your time and empathy, it also adds to the things to investigate, and thus contracts time even more. Should we be wary of this? I don't think so, we only have this one life, this one set of ears, and whatever we chose to have enter those is your treasure, no time for regrets, we can only move forward, even if it is through looking at the past. This stream will have plenty of that, and I shall talk about an example of music that felt so ahead of its time, 23 years ago, that i was left intellectually exhausted, baffled by its romantic futurism, like an alien language using a dimensional space I did not have access to. And while I felt aggressively challenged, it quickly turned into a transformative experience that was key to bettering myself.
