These past three days were kinda strange, I was without internet and had to 100% rely on my phones 3G, at least that gave me inspo to finally go back and edit something rather than spending all my time playing WoW haha. it wasn't fun, would not recommend.
Anyway, heyyy! this is my first upload of the year on the channel! and what better than making a tribute to my favorite KnY character? Ahh Rengoku I miss you so much omg it's been ages since I last edited with him. These last seasons of Kimetsu were insanely good I- I don't even know how to express it, the boundaries were all surpassed on season 3 that I dont even know anymore, ufotable, as always, doing some god tier adaptations. I just love this show so much man.
Gosh I'm deviating so much from my initial point, let me head back and talk about the edit. This song has been on my mind for about a month now I guess? really wanted to edit with it. So I tried to interpret the lyrics a bit more diferently this time and focus around Rengoku's passing and his convoluted relationship with his father. In my head, this is about Rengoku telling Tanjiro and Senjuro that he's sorry for leaving (dying) and abandoning them, but before he goes, he wants Tanjiro to see the truth about his family and try to help them in his place. The black and white parts being the colourless and bitterness emotions of Rengoku's father and how he diminishes anyone around him, including his yougest son. In the end he regains his colours as he finally recognize his son's effort and admits he's wrong, but being too late already as Rengoku is long gone.
