Sony's PlayStation February 2025 State of Play Absolutely SUCKED! If you were looking for new PS5 games to be announce from PlayStation Studios or really anything worthwhile at all you would have been painfully disappointed. The Reaction to the 2025 State of Play so far has been overwhelmingly negative and Sony's own studios were completely absent other than one indie tier game. Now that Xbox & Microsoft have basically given up Sony is becoming very complacent and delivered by far one of the worst gaming related events I have ever seen. The PS5 seems absolutely desolate for 1st Party PlayStation games for the rest of the generation after the major leadership shakeup and the cancelation of over 10 live service games that were in development. Seems like we will have to wait for the PS6 before we get anything remotely worthwhile.
