This week had perhaps the most controversial video game news in 2026 with NVIDIA announces DLSS 5 which applies some questionable AI enhancements to character faces. And during the same week of PSSR 2 being released for PS5 Pro no less! Sony's option so far seems to be impressing much more than the DLSS situation. Elsewhere in the week we had a report that Sony might be walking away from the 'PSN' and 'PlayStation Network' branding. That's an interesting choice.. Then we've got a new trailer for Saros, Death Stranding 2's PC features, Firewall Ultra getting de-listed, and Starfield finally confirmed for PS5! There's some sales discussion too.
