PS4 Is STILL Getting New Games In 2025 & Beyond, and recently it seems like Marvel Rivals is the latest big game that will be launching backwards onto the last gen console. Odd timing too considering Genshin Impact & PUBG are closing down their PS4 versions. So what's going on? The community does seem to have this general consensus that developers should move on from the console, but let's talk about what's really going on. And importantly, when will PlayStation 4 stop getting new games? And when will this pickle trend slow down? Seems like everywhere you go, there's a pickle flavor now. (I'm lowkey here for it).

Elsewhere through the week we have Gamescom Opening Night live details, new gameplay for Ghost of Yotei, a surprising Helldivers 2 collab, a strong PS Plus Extra & Premium August lineup, and the conviction that GTA VI will release on time. This is easily one of the worst weeks in PlayStation history as Sony announced theyre ending physical disc production, shutting down the PS Store on PS3 & Vita, AND taking away paid digital movies. Because in todays digital landscape, you never really own anything. And Sony is catching a LOT of heat because of this, rightfully so. Were hearing Project Helix might have no drive as well, BUT possible a Disc2Digital program for Series X? Is that what Sony could do? And is PS6 now delayed because of all this? Oh and were expecting some massive Xbox layoffs soon. Then theres Sonys comments on AI, PS Plus pricing, then we have PS5 sales results. Theres a lot of stuff happening. And were hear to discuss it, mourn it, and get upset about it. Im still on copium people. Help me.
