Testing the built-in LED light and NightShot infrared night vision of the Sony HDR-PJ710 Handycam camcorder. The HDR-CX760, PJ760, and PJ790 should have identical performance. The LED light is very bright and casts a wide glow, but the NightShot is greatly let down by Sony only including a single, tiny infrared illuminator LED. Turning on the "Low Lux" mode helps improve the performance somewhat, as does switching to 1080p 24fps mode.
