This is my vintage tech review of the 2010 Sony Ericsson W100i Spiro. The Spiro is a really small Sony Ericsson Walkman phone that was focused on the mid range. It came in multiple colors and this green Spiro I have here is the rarest of the lot. The Sony Ericsson Spiro being a Walkman phone has solid audio output from its 3.5mm jack, a really good battery life, striking contrast design and a small portable size. Its a small form factor phone or mini phone even by 2010 standards and appealed to a user base that wanted a long battery life phone, with good audio at a low price. Its one of my most favorite Sony Ericsson phones of all time.
The Sony Ericsson Spiro has a very striking contrast design and color matching keyboard and Walkman branding. It also has a nice TFT LCD display and a very solid sliding mechanism that feels really good. The battery life on the Spiro is also amazing as it was designed for long hours of music playback. It also has a surprisingly good camera, despite being a 2mp fixed focus camera. The OS is a proprietary operating system that most Sony Walkman phones used and has all the basic features such as a WAP browser, Walkman 4.0 music player, themes, App store etc etc. The green spiro is quite a rare phone as well and if you see one you should definitely get it for your phone collection if you are a phone collector.
I will be doing the usual Nostalgic Ringtones video on the Sony Ericsson Spiro in a few weeks and of course using the Sony Ericsson Spiro in 2022 or Sony Ericsson Spiro 2022. And I should also do a using Sony Ericsson in 2022, Sony Ericsson 2022, Slider phones in 2022 and best Sony Ericsson phones in 2022 so stay tuned!
These are not considered rare phones or collectible phones but I am still keeping them in my phone collection since they are considered as a vintage phones or retro phones.
My collection also includes Nokia Prototypes, Blackberry Prototypes, Motorola Prototypes, Sony Ericsson prototypes, Sony Prototypes, HTC Prototypes, Rare Nokia and other rare developer devices! These phones are no Android 11 or Android 12 powerhouses and It also ain't no iPhone 13 Pro Max, Google Pixel 6, Lumia 950Xl, Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Motorola Edge S or OnePlus 10 Pro but are definitely interesting phones on their own!
