Welcome to another video in my Strange Phones playlist. In this series of videos, I analyze a specific strange design choice or feature on a phone and give you my reasoning as to why such an engineering decision was made.
In this episode of the strange phones playlist, we focus on the strange Nokia phone from 2005, the Nokia 7373 which is essentially a Nokia 7370 with a few differences. The Nokia 7370 has a very unique 360 degrees rotating display which is focused on style and ease of use. The Nokia 7373 is a very unique Nokia Mobile in every sense and is a highly sought after collectors item.
The 7370 or 7373 are Vintage Nokia phones from the Nokia L' Amour Collection, the Nokia 7373 which is a slightly improved version of the Nokia 7370. The 7370 and 7370 were released in 2005 and 2006 as premium luxury phones that used high quality plastic, metal and genuine leather and were marked at really high prices. The Nokia 7370 and Nokia 7370 are 2 swivel phones with a very compact design that swivels out into a standard form factor. The swivel design is very premium and the swivel mechanism feels really solid. It also has 2 really powerful stereo speakers. The 7373 was upgraded with a 2mp camera in contrast with the 1.3mp camera on the 7370 and also the 7373 had a micro SD expansion slot up to 2gb which the 7370 did not have. They run the Nokia OS which is sort of based on the Nokia Series 40 platform and Nokia Symbian but is more like a proprietary OS. These phones are not extremely rare but are extremely valuable parts of any phone collection and are must have's. The Nokia L' Amour Series of phones are a collection of phones that I intend to complete very soon as I already have 2 7280's, 7380 and a 7373. Also a Nokia Symbian in 2022 or Symbian in 2022 and Nokia 2022 or Nokia in 2022 video will be coming soon!
Nevertheless, it is indeed a vintage Nokia or retro Nokia that needs to be addressed this engineering design analysis and I will be doing a video on Using Nokia 7373 in 2022 or Nokia 7370 2022 so stay tuned by subscribing! These are not considered rare phones or collectible phones but I am still keeping them in my phone collection since they are considered as a vintage phones or retro phones.
My collection also includes Nokia Prototypes, Blackberry Prototypes, Motorola Prototypes, Sony Ericsson prototypes, Sony Prototypes, HTC Prototypes, Rare Nokia and other rare developer devices! These phones are no Android 11 or Android 12 powerhouses and It also ain't no iPhone 13 Pro Max, Google Pixel 6, Lumia 950Xl, Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Motorola Edge S or OnePlus 8T but are definitely interesting phones on their own!
