This week we have more speculation surrounding next-generation consoles as Microsoft has openly said their next box will be premium and high end. We might just have a situation where PS6 is half the price of the next Xbox if that ends up being true! And that tracks with Shuhei Yoshida recently saying Sony can't keep increasing power with next-gen, they need things like the DualSense or the SSD. Elsewhere through the week we had the new PS5 Pro model get a teardown, a new PS5 software update, a new PS Store feature, and more power saver updates! There was also a big report about Microsoft wanting 30% margins from Xbox which seems insane. Pretty big industry news going on, and here I am getting hardly any sleep because 30 Platinums Part 4 is doing a number on me.
