Here is an example of how a sixteen shot pixel-shift image is done, creating a "mosaic" 270 megapixel image with unique pixel detail by microscopically shifting the image sensor by nano distances. In the first example, the image was handheld to show how movement can "prism" the R/G/B/Black pixels once blended. Then the second shows a four shot image blended to show quadruple resolution.
