Lindsay Clancy's trial went into an early break Thursday as emotions ran high following discussion of autopsy findings for Clancy's infant son, Callan.
Clancy sobbed quietly with her face buried in her hands throughout much of medical examiner Kimberly Springer's testimony, during which Clancy, lawyers and the jury were shown photos of 8-month-old Callan's body from his autopsy.
Near the end of Springer's testimony, Clancy's sobbing became shoulder-heaving, audible cries. Judge William Sullivan called an early recess as Clancy's cries echoed throughout the quiet courtroom.
