Sonic Runners is experiencing a Revival. That's even what it's called. I picked it up. It's currently using a server powered by Outrun. The Revival crew have done an incredible job reimplementing the features from the original, but there are still a few bugs to iron out.
Before the recent "Tag 1" update, players were allowed immediate access to all playable characters and buddies. That was removed in order to make the game "more like a game," to quote the Sonic Runners Revival Discord admin. I can stand by this decision, as it seems justified.
But what happens if players used buddies before which are now locked behind the roulette? Well, here, it seems to have duplicated the RC Battle Cruiser buddy and placed it in the other corresponding slot.
I don't think it duplicates the effect, but just the look of it is interesting to me.
