What if Sonic the Hedgehog's legendary Chemical Plant Zone had been composed for the Commodore 64?
This is my handmade SID reinterpretation of one of the most iconic video game tracks ever created. Every note was recreated from scratch on a real MOS 8580 SID chip using GoatTracker. No emulation, no AI-generated music, recorded on real C64 hardware.
Chemical Plant Zone is famous for its awesome drums, catchy melody, and unmistakable early-90s SEGA vibe. My goal was to preserve the speed and excitement of the original while making it sound as if it had always belonged on the Commodore 64.

The goal was to push the SID to its limits and capture the energy, groove, and instantly recognizable vibe of the original – all within the classic C64 sound palette.
