Why My Music Matters – AI vs Handmade
In a world where AI can generate music in seconds, I choose the long road.
Every note I create is placed by hand. Every melody is shaped through trial, error, emotion and time. I don’t press a button and get a finished track. I sit down, I listen, I tweak, I struggle… until it feels right.
AI music can sound impressive. Clean. Polished. Even beautiful.
But it doesn’t mean anything, because it didn’t come from anywhere.
My music does.
It comes from late nights, from inspiration, from nostalgia, from growing up with the Commodore 64. It comes from learning, failing, improving. From passion that can’t be automated.
I’m not against technology and also use modern tools.
But there’s a difference between using tools… and replacing the creator.
When you listen to my music, you’re not just hearing sound.
You’re hearing decisions. Intent. Personality.
That’s why it matters.
Because it’s human.
And that’s something no algorithm can truly replicate.

Street Fighter II actually received a Commodore 64 port — but Vega’s iconic theme was never part of it.
So I imagined how it might have sounded if it had been arranged for the legendary 8580 SID chip.
This is my authentic SID interpretation using real C64 sound characteristics and hardware limitations.
No modern plugins.
No fake 8-bit filters.
Just raw SID power.
The Vega (Balrog in Japan) stage theme is one of the most iconic tracks in fighting game history — dramatic, mysterious and full of Spanish flair. Translating that atmosphere into 3 SID channels was both a challenge and a joy.
