Here’s a remix I did of the Japanese/European version of the opening theme from Sonic CD!
The lead guitar I used was actually meant to be a placeholder but I thought, "Man, that actually sounds great!"
The first part with the soft notes used to match what the original went like, but it didn’t sound good for my rendition of the song. I changed it to make it flow into the song better.
The lead guitar's note scheme is based on the vocal version, and not the official instrumental version. Though, I did add a little bit of something from the Ocean View version from All-Stars Racing Transformed.
The opening footage is taken from the version seen in Sonic Origins.
The second loop is based on the 1999 version, which included some cool little differences which I applied to this remix!
