It's 2026 and I'm still finding new things in this game! Introducing the "Moving Booster" - an applied technique of the mowing peelout onto the boosters of Stardust Speedway. It gives new properties that allow for new ways inside even curved walls like the very first slope in the level. And that's all you need for a level wrap.
This wrap isn't free - you need to time the release of the peelout to not go too far through the ramp to not be able to zip out anymore - and time the jump to get the ejection speed. And then of course the speed control to actually wrap. Afterwards is simple at least, you're way up in the air so just need to touch back left to land on solid ground and then all good to go.
This is another trick I've found that's useful for speedrunning while routing the score attacks in this game. It really do be opening up new appreciation of this game.

![Pokemon HG/SS - Battle Factory L50 Gold Print Speedrun in 1:39:17 [Current WR]
Incredible run! Getting into real endgame territory with the time here, I had good Pokemon in every set, and there werent really any bad spots. Wouldnt be all that surprising if this one stands for a very long time.

![Pokemon Stadium - Pika Cups, Transfers only from New Game (Blue) in 1:32:57 [WR]
Came up with an interesting way to do speedruns using transfers, and really wanted to put it into practice, as my mind couldnt stop thinking about it for the past few days. Its how you know an idea is good! So heres the first instalment.
Concept is starting from a new game in the Game Boy game via Dodrio tower, and make a team to beat one of the cups. In this case, Pika Cup (both Round 1 and 2). The reason for doing transfers *only*, is that otherwise just using rentals would be faster. The reason for starting from new game, is otherwise just using perfectly built mons is boring as hell, and extremely easy. The reason for not doing the whole game, is grinding to L100 for Prime Cup is also boring as hell.
But this is a sweet spot thats really interesting to theorise routes for, in terms of Pokemon to get and use, and risk/reward factor between how much to prioritise team building and how much to go in as soon as possible.
Pretty happy with the route I came up with, given I had the idea just a couple days ago, and had to have so much of it just be theorised ideas, since testing this out via transfer is most feasible by simply doing runs. And in practice, this went basically exactly as I had hoped. Really fun run, definitely plan to do Petit and Little in the future, maybe more!
