This stage isn't a hard complete if you take the normal route. But it is pretty slow, going through the regular way to the finish. So given I am optimising these for speed, I opted for the faster option, to go the oil.
And with going the oil route with the A Button only, this is the hardest. This route is *extremely* difficult. Getting under the first sets of silos are hard, but manageable, you can get a rhythm going for them. But the ending, my god this shit drove me nuts. You get no backups either, gotta get it first try or with the momentum gone, you can't get through.
Very, very happy I finally got this and don't have to worry about it again.

Came up with an interesting way to do speedruns using transfers, and really wanted to put it into practice, as my mind couldnt stop thinking about it for the past few days. Its how you know an idea is good! So heres the first instalment.
Concept is starting from a new game in the Game Boy game via Dodrio tower, and make a team to beat one of the cups. In this case, Pika Cup (both Round 1 and 2). The reason for doing transfers *only*, is that otherwise just using rentals would be faster. The reason for starting from new game, is otherwise just using perfectly built mons is boring as hell, and extremely easy. The reason for not doing the whole game, is grinding to L100 for Prime Cup is also boring as hell.
But this is a sweet spot thats really interesting to theorise routes for, in terms of Pokemon to get and use, and risk/reward factor between how much to prioritise team building and how much to go in as soon as possible.
Pretty happy with the route I came up with, given I had the idea just a couple days ago, and had to have so much of it just be theorised ideas, since testing this out via transfer is most feasible by simply doing runs. And in practice, this went basically exactly as I had hoped. Really fun run, definitely plan to do Petit and Little in the future, maybe more!

A pretty damn sizable improvement here, pretty much entirely on the back of the final set. As if anyone had any question about what the best Pokemon in the Factory is, here it is again to prove just how incredible it is.
