Well, yesterday I found the fur and vgm files for an old OPL4 cover of the Quartz Quadrant Past song from sonic cd. Originally, this was done with a fork that supported the OPL4 back in 2022 (now there is a new fork with the same intention, but way more updated that this one I used almost 1/2 year ago). Decided to upload it here because I tought it sounded alright.
I am starting to like more this vgm player, due to the fact that it is kinda unique in terms to display the notes and all other stuff thats going on (specially for the OPL4, wich for me is absolutely painful to make oscilloscopes with that much channels).
Module: This time I am not sharing the module due to the fact that the version of furnace that I used to make this cover is very old and obsolete (and incompatible) with the newer versions, so I am not sharing it.

Furnace has recently added support for the irem GA20 chip and i did this just to test it. Its essentially another unique proprietary sample chip made by irem... but its pretty cool actually. Also i would like to say, merry christmas everyone! (if you actually do celebrate it)

Tbh, this sounds like the neo geo but actually better. The Sega Cd soundchip together with the sega genesis soundchips, together make up 18 audio channels, meanwhile the Ym2610B can do only 16 (but with some serious limitations)!
Also, yes, I sampled the fm bass on the pcm chip because the Ym2612 was already full doing the chords and the melody.
