This week was my grandmother's 75th birthday, and for her birthday I wrote her this song!
I thought it would be fun to limit myself to 75 measures of time, and 75 words for the lyrics. I had finished sketching out the song and how it would lay, and I thought of it at first as an acoustic, folk-style tune. It wasn't until recording this where that took a drastic turn, as I had found a beautiful preset synth patch which inspired me to go a more electronic route. Combine that with my vocoded bass, synthesized bass solo, and some sub synth and you get what I like to describe as a recently-sentient AI proclaiming its new-found love.
